According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2014 data was found as many as 500 million people who experience kidney failure, and every year it increases. Damage to the kidneys and irreversible causes people with kidney failure to undergo hemodialysis therapy. One of the symptoms that appear in people with kidney failure is fatigue. Fatigue can be treated non-pharmacologically, namely Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) therapy. The instrument used is the Fatigue Assessment Scale (FSA). The results obtained in this study that the level of fatigue in patients given PMR therapy decreased significantly from a score of 41 (high) to 15 (moderate). It can be concluded that Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) therapy can reduce fatigue levels in hemodialysis patients. | ||
