To overcome and avoid the incidence of menstrual pain experienced by adolescents, there are pharmacological and non-pharmacological techniques, one of which is by providing acupressure therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of sanyinjiao acupressure therapy to treat dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls. The subjects of this study were 2 respondents with primary dysmenorrhea which was carried out for 3 days during menstruation and for 2 menstrual cycles using the measurement of pain level VAS (visual analogue scale). The results of the application of therapy were found that patients under management experienced a decrease in pain levels from a scale of 5 to 2, while patients resumed from a scale of 5 to 3. It is recommended for adolescents who experience dysmenorrhea to do sanyinjiao acupressure therapy for 2 menstrual cycles, each for 3 days. menstruation to reduce menstrual pain. | ||
