| Summary: | The purpose of this study is to find out why the government dissolved the Hizb ut-Tahrir movement in Indonesia and the perceptions of national figures regarding nationalism and the Hizb ut-Tahrir version of the caliphate along with the views of the Nadhlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah organizations. As well as knowing the history of the emergence of Hizb ut-Tahrir to Indonesia by using political theory and perception theory. The method used is qualitative with the type of causal case study method (explanative) which is based on the basic question, namely: how or why. And descriptive case studies that describe the events that occurred and must be investigated. The results of this study indicate that the reason why the government dissolved the Indonesian hizbut tahrir movement was because they rejected the democratic system and general elections, so they wanted the Islamic legal system or Islamic law to be fully implemented by the Indonesian people. Contemporary scholars have stated that the Pancasila state is an Islamic state. Nadhlatul Ulama mentions it as Dar al-Sulh (area of peace) and Muhammadiyah mentions it as Dar al-Ahd wa syahadah (area of agreement and proof). |
