Description
Summary:Drug supplies at the Koja Health Center were still found to be stockout, stagnant, and expired drugs. This indicates that the planning is not optimal. The purpose of this study was to analyze drug planning, calculate drug needs using the consumption method, and calculate ROP at the Koja Health Center Pharmacy Installation. This descriptive qualitative research uses data collection methods through in-depth interviews and document review. Data validation is done through method triangulation and source triangulation. The informants consist of 3 people (Head of Pharmacy, Head of Pharmacy Warehouse, and Pharmacy Staff). The results showed that drug planning at the Koja Health Center was in accordance with existing regulations. However, the implementation is still not optimal because the calculation is not in accordance with the actual formula for the consumption method, so stockout, stagnant, and expired drugs are still found. The results of the calculation of the consumption method obtained the largest plan of drug requirements, namely Vitamin B Complex (454,323 tablets). Of the 75 types of drugs based on the National Formulary, 45 drugs were procured and 30 drugs were not procured. The results of the calculation of ROP obtained an ROP value of 1-16.667 items with 14 drugs being reordered and 61 drugs not being reordered. It is hoped that Puskesmas can adjust DOEN and FORNAS in conducting drug selection, perform calculations by paying attention to the data required according to the Minister of Health, provide drug planning training, improve coordination and communication between pharmacists.
