| Summary: | The purpose of this study is to find out how the management of communication privacy in married couples at a young age in dealing with conflict. To find this goal, this study focuses on looking at what conflicts occur in the household and how married couples who are married at a young age are currently maintaining their household by looking at the side of their Communication Privacy Management.The research method used was a quasi-qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach that was carried out on married couples at a young age, and the data collection technique in this study used primary data from in-depth interviews and secondary data obtained from various related journals and books. Based on the results of the study, in certain conditions a person is forced to open his personal problems to others to get a solution. The communication privacy management process is carried out by informants based on several regulatory criteria. communication privacy management carried out by the informants is based on the rules made by each other. The rules are made as a result of negotiations, considering the risks and benefits, and considering other criteria. The three informants hid information by avoiding talking about the household in front of their families. The results of this study also indicate that information concealment is carried out based on risk criteria while information disclosure is carried out based on contextual and motivational criteria rules. This research is expected for married couples to be able to carry out Communication Privacy Management to provide privacy limits in the management of personal information. |
