| Summary: | Pregnancy is a process of fetal growth and development, beginning with the release of an ovum which will be fertilized by a sperm (conception) to form a zygote followed by continuous division into an embryo which will be implanted (nidation) in the uterus. During pregnancy, especially in third trimester pregnant women, pregnant women will experience physiological changes where there is a change in the center of gravity of the body caused by developments in the womb that cause pain in the lower back of pregnant women. This analysis aims to determine the results of Birth Ball Exercise on low back pain in third trimester pregnant women. This analysis uses 2 respondents. The first respondent is a managed patient who was given intervention and the second respondent is a resume patient without intervention. Researchers conducted by looking at changes in pain scale with a Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) questionnaire. In the first questionnaire, there was a pain scale of 5 in patients under management, while in resume patients, a pain scale of 6. The results showed that there was a change in the pain scale in patients under management with a scale of 3, while in resume patients there was no change in the pain scale. The conclusion that there is a decrease in the pain scale after the Birth Ball Exercise intervention on low back pain in third trimester pregnant women |
