| Summary: | Indonesia is a developing country whose characteristics are not much different from other developing countries. Indonesia's financial sector has many problems, especially in terms of its shallow financial depth, where there are still many marginalized people who have difficulty accessing financial services while dependence on banks is quite high. Monetary policy is crucial through its role in encouraging financial intermediation, especially in economic growth & financial access policies. Changes or developments that occur in various macroeconomic variables of a country will influence especially in financial. This research focuses on seeing whether GDP, Reference Interest Rate, Exchange Rate and Inflation influence depth financial sector in Indonesia. The exemination approach test uses a multiple linear regression approach with the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method, model using research years from 1990-2021. It was found in this study that in the short run and long run GDP is significant influence for depth financial sector, the short run and long run reference interest rate is significant influence for depth financial sector, the short run and long run exchange rate is significant influence for depth financial sector, the short run and long run inflation is not have a effect and significant for depth financial sector. |
