Summary:Toko Plastik Gaya Baru Pasar Minggu is one of the shops selling various kinds of plastic items and others. This store sells goods in the form of wholesale and retail. The transaction method at this store still uses the traditional method, causing sales data to not be optimal because of the many types of goods available, causing the seller to have difficulty managing the many items available because each category has different sales. The purpose of this research is to predict sales of goods using a simple linear regression algorithm. The simple linear regression method was chosen because it has the advantage of producing a fairly high accuracy compared to other algorithms according to relevant research results that use the relationship between the dependent and independent variables. To get the optimal value using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) for the percentage error. The lowest MAPE value on goods sales is hd color at 4,898%. The results of the MAPE value explain that the model used is in the very accurate category. The results of the prediction of sales of goods at the Toko Gaya Baru from week 19 to 23 with predictions of sales of mica boxes which have the most sales with a total of 770 packs, hd colors with a total of 763 packs, others with a total of 616 packs, boxes with a total of 472 packs, glasses with a total of 419 packs, tissues with a total of 326 packs, birthday supplies with a total of 234 packs, forks with a total of 219 packs, spoons with a total of 215 packs, drawstring bags with a total of 153 packs, plastics with a total of 150 packs, rice paper with a total of 116 packs , soft handles with a total of 79 packs, and lastly, styrofoam with a total of 31 packs.
