Low hemoglobin in the body can cause organs to experience a lack of oxygen so that they cannot function normally. This study aims to determine differences in the effectiveness of booklet and comic media on knowledge about anemia in adolescent girls at SMAN 19 Bekasi. The design used is a quasi-experimental without group controls with 57 respondents. Sampling using stratified random sampling technique. The instruments used are questionnaires, booklets and comics. Based on the results of statistical test analysis obtained p value of 0.723 (p> 0.05). It can be concluded that there is no difference in the effectiveness of booklet and comic media education on knowledge about anemia in adolescent girls at SMAN 19 Bekasi. This study suggests that respondents better understand the importance of anemia and can pay more attention to the intake of nutrients consumed daily, especially those related to iron in order to reduce the risk of anemia and in institutions can make programs or socialization related to anemia in adolescents. | ||
