| 520 | |a The number of people with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is increasing every year. DM can be caused by several factors such as the wrong diet, unhealthy lifestyles such as smoking and alcoholic beverages, as well as genetics. Annona muricata Linn (soursop) is one of the alternative treatment steps that can be given because of the content such as tannins and flavonoids that can lower blood sugar and also improve the histopathological picture and the number of pancreatic cells. This study uses a systematic review method with a literature search using Google Scholar, and Science Direct. This research was conducted using the PRISMA-P 2020 flow chart. The literature used discusses Annona muricata Linn, pancreatic cells, and histopathological features of the pancreas. The results in this study there are 7 research literatures that are in accordance with showing the significance of the administration of Annona muricata Linn extract which can improve pancreatic cells in diabetic animal models. The conclusion of this study is that the administration of Annona muricata Linn extract showed a significant improvement in the increase in the number of pancreatic cells. | ||
