| 520 | |a The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the soundness level of banks using the RGEC and macroeconomic methods on the profitability of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2027-2021 and to find out how institutional ownership structure variables moderate RGEC and macroeconomics on banking profitability. The sampling method uses the full sampling method. The analysis technique used in this study was panel data regression analysis with 12 eviews and a significance level of 5% and the Chow test, Hausman test, and Langrange multiplier test were performed. The results of the study show that (1) risk profile has a negative effect on profitability (2) good corporate governance has a negative effect on profitability (3) earning has a negative effect on profitability (4) capital has a negative effect on profitability (5) GDP and interest rates have no effect on profitability (6) Inflation has a positive effect on profitability (7) Institutional ownership because moderation is unable to moderate the effect of risk profile and earnings on profitability (8) Institutional ownership as moderation can strengthen the effect of capital on profitability (9) Institutional ownership as a moderation can strengthen the influence of GDP, interest rates and inflation on profitability. | ||
