Summary

In fish farming, catfish breeders usually give fish feed in the form of fish pellets. This is because pellets are the most practical food for fish breeders. However, the fish pellets sold are not cheap. When compared to making pellets yourself, then the price purchased on the market is more expensive. In the production process, a pellet printing machine is needed in order to speed up and simplify the work of printing fish feed pellets. This printing machine also requires a frame to support the machine components so that they can stand on the ground. However, in the selection of material to support the load received by the frame, it is also necessary to pay attention so that the frame does not fail. In assisting the design, a 3-dimensional drawing application using Analitic software is needed which is then simulated using simulation software with load calculations. From testing using the FME method on the frame, it can be concluded that material differences affect von mises and displacement so that it can be concluded whether the frame is safe or not using the calculated safety factor.
