Summary: | Goban Cosmetics is a local cosmetic brand that was founded in 2018. The name "Goban" Cosmetics itself is an acronym for Gorgeous Beautiful Angel which is inspired by French and Korean culture. The products offered by Goban Cosmetics can be used by everyone specialy woman, from beginners to professionals. The Goban Cosmetics website has many active features in 2018 including; portal homepage, shopping, company profile, latest product updates, blog or journal, and so on. From the results of a short interview with the Executive Marketing division of Goban Cosmetics, it can be concluded that the results of product sales on the Gobancosmetics.com website are not comparable to the sales results on their marketplace, therefore Goban Cosmetics wants to research what causes the lack of sales on the website and make updates from the perspective of user interface and user experience that have good usability, from the results of this problem analysis, the researcher wants to help overcome the problems experienced by Goban Cosmetics. The method used to assist the research process is the design thinking method, because it is a creative problem-solving method that involves the user into the thinking process and makes the user's perspective the main consideration in the problem-solving process. After applying the design thinking method, testing will be carried out using the SUS calculation or System Usability Scale to measure user satisfaction, this method is in the form of a prepared or ready-to-use questionnaire. In this study, the results of the analysis and design of the user interface and user experience on the gobancosmetics.com website use the design thinking method that meets user needs with the addition of features and a usability level of 75.66% or grade B which shows that the results of this analysis and design identified as good according to the usability scale and can be recommended by Goban Cosmetics to proceed to the development stage.
