| 520 | |a Nowadays, household waste remains an issue. It could lead to numerous problems if not properly managed. Its management required active community participation. The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing community behavior in managing household waste in Duren Sawit District. This research was a quantitative study using a cross-sectional study design. A total of 114 people residing in Duren Sawit District were recruited as samples by using an accidental sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using a Chi-Square test. The results showed a significant relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0,000), attitude (p-value = 0,014), and staff encouragement (p value=0,012) with community behavior in managing household waste. It was found that no significant relationship between age (p value=0,182 and 0,664), education (p value=0,816 and 0,835), and infrastructure (p-value=0,573) with community behavior in managing household waste. Therefore, programs or activities related household waste management are needed in district to increase knowledge, attitudes, and supporting infrastructure for the community. | ||
