Summary

Legal protection for Insurance Customers needs to be available for customers affected by the failure to pay insurance policies. When a dispute arises or dispute between the insurance policyholder and the insurance company. The Research Method used is Normative Juridical with a Statutory Approach and a Case Approach. For Customers and Insurance Companies, the Agreement is an important thing. The results found from this study are the function of an insurance policy or insurance agreement which is the basis or written evidence of both parties, namely the customer and the insurance company and the customer's position becomes important when a problem occurs. The position of the customer and the insurance company is balanced because they both have rights and obligations in the agreement.
