| Summary: | This study aims to discuss the role of mass medium, especially in social media PinterPolitik accounts in increasing the political participations of the milennial generations in the 2019 simultaneous elesctions. This study uses the theory of mass media, political participations, social media, and the milennial generations. The research approach used is qualitative, this type of research is carried out by way of description. The researcher also carried out puprosive information selection thecniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation and netnografi methods which were carried out on the editorial team fot PinterPolitik accounts and also followers of PinterPolitik accounts on Youtube, Instagram, and Website. The final results of this study found that there was an influence from the role of the PinterPolitik social media account on the political participation of the milennial generation which was not only implemented in voting during elections, but also freedom of opinion and voice, and communications with political actors. In addition, the millennial generations also has easy access to political informations to help then get to know the candidate pairs they will choose and also get the latest information about ongoing political phenomena such as the 2019 Elections. |
