Summary

This research was conducted to measure the level of employee workload in the corrugated paper production department at PT. X using the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) method. PT. X is a disposable product manufacturing company in Banten that produces packaging and food protection products. The aim of this research is to help PT. X increase productivity and create a conducive work environment by optimizing workforce management through human resource management. Data were obtained from interviews, literature studies, field studies at PT. X, employee working hours, and specific job descriptions in the production department. The research findings after calculating FTE indicate that all operators at the Punch Roller workstation, Sorter 1 operator, and Sorter 3 operator fall into the category of FTE overload index. Sorter 2 operator, Sorter 4 operator, and all operators at the Packing workstation fall into the category of FTE fit index. The proposed improvement suggests adding 2 operators to the Punch Roller and 1 operator to the Sorter. The aim of adding operators is to achieve workload balance.
