Summary

The use of technology in the banking industry has experienced significant developments in recent years. One of the latest innovations is the introduction of cardless cash withdrawals and cash deposits, which allow customers to carry out banking transactions without using a physical card. Although cardless has the potential to increase convenience and security as well as flexibility in transactions, this feature itself has potential risks that customers and banks need to pay attention to. This writing aims to know and understand the risks and security mitigation of the use of cardless banking. The writing method used is qualitative and quantitative methods with primary data sources, and data processing techniques use qualitative and quantitative risk analysis to be able to identify, measure, map and control the risks from using cardless banking. The results of the analysis and measurements show that the risk of fraud is at a high level of risk, system disruption is at a moderate risk level and theft of customer devices is at a low level. Risk analysis at the measurement and mapping stage can determine appropriate mitigation steps and methods for using cardless banking.
