Summary:The use of the internet as a place for interaction with peers, but the internet has a negative impact if used by irresponsible people so that it can lead to cyberbullying behavior. Teenagers who engage in cyberbullying as perpetrators or victims experience negative effects that contribute to increased stress and poor emotion regulation. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between stress levels and emotion regulation with cyberbullying behavior among adolescents at SMAN 2 Bekasi. The study employed analysis research design with a cross sectional approach and was conducted on 208 active XI grade students at SMAN 2 Bekasi using Stratified Random Sampling. The instruments used were the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) instrument used for perceived stress, the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) used for emotion regulation, and the Cyberbullying and Online Agression Survey used for cyberbullying behavior. Data were collected through questionnaire (g-form) distribution. Data analysis involved univariate analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate analyses using the chi square test. The result of this study indicate that there is a relationship between stress levels with cyberbullying behavior p value 0,003 (p < 0,05) for the relationship between emotion regulation with cyberbullying behavior, p value 0,002 (p < 0,05). These findings indicate a significant relationship between stress levels and emotion regulation with cyberbullying behavior among adolescents at SMAN 2 Bekasi. The implication of this study is determine the relationship between stress levels and emotion regulation with cyberbullying behavior in adolescents as a promotive effort to impact of cyberbullying behavior on mental health in adolescent to control stress and control emotions properly. Future research is expected to develop research related to stress level and emotion regulation with cyberbullying behavior in adolescent girls and provide interventions.
