| Summary: | The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of stock prices on food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with factors originating from external and internal companies. The company's internal factors use profitability proxied by Net Profit Margin (NPM) while the external factor used is inflation, while the factors that come from the company's internal This research is a quantitative study with secondary data. The objects used as this research are food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period 2017 - 2021. The sampling technique used purposive sampling which obtained 45 companies as samples that match the specified criteria. This study uses data for a 5 year period which produces 225 research data. The data processing method used in this study is the panel data regression model with the help of Eviews - 12 as a data processing tool. The result of this study is that profitability (NPM) has a significant influence on stock prices in a positive or unidirectional direction. While inflation has no significant effect on stock prices in a negative or opposite direction. |
