| 520 | |a This research aims to discuss how the role of UN Women as one of the international organizations that has the aim to do equality for women in the world through the HeForShe program where through this program UN Women invites men to get involved and take part in helping women achieve their rights, overcome gender inequality, reduce sexual violence and carry out gender equality. The method used is descriptive qualitative using various primary data sources, namely through interviews with UN Women Indonesia, Komnas Perempuan and the New Men's Alliance and secondary sources through various books, scientific journals, and articles that have similar topics with the author. The final results of this study show that the HeForShe program is also sufficient to increase the participation and involvement of men in helping women to achieve their rights where many programs are run by UN Women through this program. However, there are various obstacles and challenges faced by UN Women in implementing this program against the culture, norms and policies of the Indonesian government which make this program not maximally integrated and also the COVID-19 pandemic which hinders the implementation of this program. | ||
