520 |a Indonesia is the largest producer of swallow nests in the world. This is because swallow nests are one of the leading commodities in Indonesia's trade with various countries, especially China. China is a potential market for Indonesian shallow nest commodities. However, the trade dynamics between Indonesia and China in the commodity of swallow's nest do not always run smoothly. The protocol policy is stringent in China, so few companies obtain permits for exports, and the stagnant export value encourages efforts from the government to find solutions to overcome these obstacles. The research methodology used in this study is descriptive qualitative and uses data collection techniques, literature study, and documentation study. The data analysis techniques applied include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion according to the concept put forward by Miles and Huberman. The results of this research show that exports of Indonesian swallow nests to China involve several sectors, such as ministries, associations, and entrepreneurs. Indonesia adjusted export standards to suit China, made regulations in response to Chinese rules, met with Indonesia and China to discuss increasing exports of swallow's nests, and participated in exhibitions. Through these efforts, obstacles to the export of Indonesian swallow's nests to China can be minimized, as evidenced by the performance of exports of swallow's nests to China throughout the following period, which has increased
