| Summary: | PT XYZ requires non-construction consulting services to analyze or research the trends of port and logistics business that will be used for the company's future business planning. There are eight criteria used to evaluate vendors, quality, performance history, warranties & claim policies, price, communication system, reputation & position in industry, management & organization, and company administration. The AHP method is used to prioritize or weight each of the criteria which will then be used to make the best alternative decision using the TOPSIS method. Based on the results of the AHP method, it is found that the criteria with the highest priority are management & organization with a weight of 21%, quality weight of 19%, reputation & position in industry weight of 19%, performance history weight of 12%, communication system weight of 10%, price weight of 8%, company administration weight of 6% and the lowest priority criteria are warranties & claim policies weight of 5%. The weighting of these criteria is used to select the best alternative in the TOPSIS method and it is found that the vendor having the highest preference value is PT. A with a preference value of 0.6400. |
