| Summary: | Even though the expected seafaring safety conditions are zero accidents, in fact there are still cases of work accidents caused by unsafe actions on PT. X Indonesia. In 2022, there was an increase in cases of 0.25% compared to the previous year. Numerous elements, including individual and work factors, contribute to unsafe action. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with unsafe action on the tugboat crews of PT. X Indonesia. The research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional study design. The sampling technique used simple random sampling, with a total sample of 100 people. The data analysis was univariate, bivariate with the Chi-square test. The results of the bivariate analysis found a relationship between age, education level, attitude, supervision, and OSH socialization with unsafe action. No relationship was found between job tenure, knowledge, and training with unsafe action. It is hoped that crew members will work according to the applicable procedures, remind each other and admonish fellow workers to act safely, and be diligent in participating in OSH training and outreach. Companies can carry out OSH socialization by conducting safety mornings every day and conducting intensive and thorough OSH supervision. |
