| Resumo: | Work fatigue can result from both formal and informal types of work. More than 60% of work accident cases that occur in the workplace are caused by work fatigue. Firefighters have a working time of 1x24 hours, the demands a risky task, and Sector II Kebayoran Baru District had the most fire cases in the South Jakarta area in 2022 with 74 cases. However, there is still a lack of fire stations in the sub-district, thus causing work fatigue. This research aims to analyze the factors associated with the work fatigue of firefighters in Sector II Kebayoran Baru District. This research was conducted in March-June 2023. The research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional study design. The sampling technique used total sampling, with a total sample of 57 people. The data analysis was univariate, bivariate with the chi-square test, and multivariate with logistic regression prediction models. The results of the multivariate analysis showed that the variable most related to work fatigue was sleep duration (POR: 6,584; 95% CI: 1,527-28,383). It is hoped that firefighters can make the best of their rest time, reduce daily cigarette consumption, and stretch their muscles between work hours. |
