| 520 | |a The risk of violent behavior can threaten the safety of the perpetrator or other people, whether physical, mental, or sexual, so efforts need to be made to overcome it. Purpose: To describe nursing care for patients at risk of violent behavior through the provision of innovative progressive muscle relaxation interventions. Method: The application of this EBN uses a case study method on two clients with a risk of violent behavior. This analysis uses a questionnaire observation sheet for signs and symptoms of the risk of violent behavior to assess the signs and symptoms experienced by the client. Results: Shows changes in the risk score of violent behavior experienced by both clients. For clients managed with an initial score of 32 (severe risk) to a score of 5 (mild risk), while clients resume an initial score of 26 (severe risk) to a score of 5 (mild risk). Conclusion: EBN is a progressive muscle relaxation therapy that can reduce signs and symptoms experienced by patients at risk of violent behavior. Suggestion: for future researchers who take the theme of the risk of violent behavior, namely to apply good trusting relationships with clients, then approach them by having short but frequent conversations consistently and paying attention to self-safety during interactions. | ||
