This research was conducted to determine the effect of the Constitutional Court's decision on the amendment of "Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 Tentang Perkawinan", namely, Constitutional Court Decision Number 46/PUU-VIII/2010 relating to the position of children out of wedlock, Constitutional Court Decision Number 69/PUUXIII/2015 relating to marriage agreements. This research is a normative juridical research with a statute approach, and analytical perspective research by using library materials which are then analyzed qualitatively. The result of the research was found that 3 (three) decisions of the Constitutional Court granted the applicant, that is The Constitutional Court Decision Number 46/PUU-VIII/2010, Thhe Constitutional Court Decision Number 69/PUUXIII/2015, and The Constitutional Court Decision Number 22/PUU-XV/2017. The Constitutional Court's Decision Number 22/PUU-XV/2017 has been followed up with a revision to "Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 2019 Tentang Perubahan Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 Tentang Perkawinan". But The Constitutional Court Decisions Number 46/PUU-VIII/2010 and The Constitutional Court Decisions Number 69/PUU-XIII/2015 were missed in the amendment to "Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 2019". Therefore, the legislature-forming organs need to carry out the mechanism of legislative review and executive review which can be used as an effort to change a statutory regulation through the legislative or executive institutions, in this case, the decision is The Constitutional Court Decision Number 46/PUU-VIII/2010 and The Constitutional Court Decision Number 69/PUUXIII/2015. Besides, it is also necessary to strengthen the system for the follow-up of the Constitutional Court Decision which is final and binding.
