Description
Summary:The feeling of fatigue is an important factor in ergonomics because it can affect the work ability of human resources. The term work fatigue leads to a weakened condition of human resources to complete their work, which results in a decrease in work capacity, endurance and work productivity. Work fatigue experienced by workers must be given special attention by the company in order to avoid hazards or risks that endanger workers and company operations. One of the activities in work that has hazards and risks is driving. Work fatigue in drivers is one of the causes of traffic accidents in the transportation sector so that it provides a high mortality rate. Therefore, this study was conducted at Mikrotrans Jaklingko Cooperative Purimas Jaya to analyze the factors of work shifts, tenure, age and sleep quality that cause fatigue using subjective methods, namely the Subjective Self Rating Test from the IFRC (Industrial Fatigue Research Committee) and objective measurement tools, namely the Bourdon Wiersma Test, while for the quality of sleep workers will use the PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) questionnaire. The results of the study using the Bourdon Wiersma test show that the conditions before and after work can affect the driver in all three indicators in this case speed, accuracy and constancy. For the results of research using the Subjective Self Rating Test from the IFRC, it is known that work shifts and fatigue are known to have a value of 0.043 < 0.05, tenure has a value of 0.874 > 0.05, age has a value of 0.071 > 0.05 and sleep quality has a value of 0.150 > 0.05. So it is known that there is a significant relationship between work shifts and fatigue while there is no significant relationship between tenure, age and sleep quality to fatigue.
