Summary

The advancement of science and technology currently progresses, one example is technologies of as the laptop is give many benefits in the fields of education in the activities of learning. Laptop has become an electronic device that should be owned by students. No wonder the laptop used every day by using patterns of different and duration which long enough to complaints neck pain. Objective : This study attempts to analyze the usage patterns laptop and looking for whether there was an association between duration with the neck pain. The methodology of this research is descriptive correlative by cross sectional design. The population of this research is students senior year D-III physiotherapy with a sample of 51 people. The sample in this study was taken by purposive sampling, using inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. The parameters used were questionnaires. Analysis of data using statistical tests and hypotheses. Result : After this data processing the duration of the use of laptop the results p = 0.275 (p> 0.05) Conclusion : showed no significant relation exists between duration of the use laptop in the neck pain.
