ARI that has spread to the lungs and is not treated properly, allows for serious complications that can be fatal. Complications that usually occur due to acute respiratory infections are unable to breathe because lung function stops, there is an increase in carbon dioxide levels in the blood, and can cause heart failure. Respondents intended in this study are toddlers aged 12-59 months living in the working area of the Limo District Health Center Depok City. The data used are primary data, which are the results of the research instrument filling. There are 9 variables that were analyzed by bivariate test and the results showed that there were variables that were significantly related to p-values <0.05. Variables that are related to the occurrence of ARI are the sex of children under five p-value 0.038 (OR = 2.56: 95% CI 1.13-5.7), nutritional status of children under five p-value 0,000 (OR = 44.52: 95% CI 9.73-203-68), complete p-value immunization 0.011 (OR = 0.28: 95% CI 0.11-0.77), maternal education p-value 0.007 (OR = 4.64: 95% CI 1.57-12.66), density of sleeping space occupancy p-value 0.006 (OR = 4.84: 95% CI 1.62-14.51), the presence of family members who smoke p-value 0.011 (OR = 3 , 52: 95% CI 1.41-8.79). From the above results it can be concluded that the factors associated with ARI occurrence in infants 12-59 months in the working area of the Limo District Health Center are the sex of children under five, nutritional status of children, maternal education level, density of sleeping space and the presence of family members who smoke.
