| Summary: | Adolescents are one of the vulnerable groups facing nutrional problems. Nutritional problems for adolescents have a lot of negative impacts on health and the possibility of continuing in adults masses. This study aims to analyze the relationship between of screen time, physical activity, and the amount of pocket money with overweight on adolescents age 15-18 years in SMA Negeri 3 Tambun Selatan. This research is an analytic observational research using cross sectional design in march-may 2020. Sampling with stratified random sampling. The research samples are adolescents aged 15-18 years and sits in X and XI classes with a total sample of 101 respondents. Analysis of this research data use chi-square test with a value of α = 0,05. Based on the results of the analysis show that screen time (playing laptop/smartphone p=0,009), physical activity (p=0,016), and the amount of pocket money (p=0,000) have significant relationship with overweight (p<0,05). While on screen time (watching tv p=0,066) there is no relationship with overweight. Conclusion in this research, no relationship between screen time (watching tv) with overweight on adolescents in SMA Negeri 3 Tambun Selatan, but there is a relationship between screen time (playing laptop/smatphone), physical activity, and amount of pocket money with overweight on adolescents in SMA Negeri 3 Tambun Selatan. |
