This study aims to examine the existing research to determine the best evidence associated with risk factors that influence the incidence of urinary tract stones (urolithiasis). This study uses a literature review study research method and a literature search was conducted using a database through PubMed and search engine Google Scholar. There are 8 journals after going through several stages of screening by adjusting the inclusion criteria that have been set previously. The results from 8 journals are then grouped into three parts. First, the risk factors for urinary tract stones according to the respondent's characteristics include age, gender, family history, and Body Mass Index. Second, risk factors for urinary tract stones according to lifestyle which include physical activity, food consumption, fluid intake, tea consumption, coffee consumption, vitamin C consumption, alcohol consumption, and smoking. Third, risk factors for urinary tract stones based on concomitant diseases including hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Conclusion: age, sex, body mass index, lack of physical activity, frequency of fluid intake, hypertension and diabetes mellitus are the most influential risk factors for urinary stone events. However, tea consumption is known to be a protective factor to prevent the formation of urinary tract stones.
