Poor sleep quality for nurses can have an impact on nurses' health and work performance. Poor sleep quality can occur due to work stress because it has a great responsibility for work commitments. High work stress is most experienced by nurses with high workloads so that more work demands have to be done. This study aims to determine the relationship of workload and work stress with sleep quality in nurses at the Emergency Room at RSUD Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative research design with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique in total sampling with a total of 45 respondents. Analysis of the data used is the Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between workload (p value = 0.657) and work stress (p value = 0.182) with the quality of sleep of nurses at the Emergency Room of RSUD Pasar Minggu in South Jakarta. The hospital management is expected to be able to manage and adjust the division of tasks to be received by nurses so as not to cause a heavy workload so that work stress and poor sleep quality on nurses can be avoided.
