520 | |a Hyperbilirubinemia is a common disease in newborns caused by several risk factors such as gestational age, sex, birth weight, type of delivery, breastfeeding and blood type in newborns who have a risk of hyperbilirubinemia in newborns newborn baby or neonate. The results of research conducted by several experts indicate that some risk factors can cause the incidence of hyperbilirubineia significantly or most likely can result in the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia. This review literature aims to systematically find out about risk factors for hyperbilirubinemia in neonates such as gestational age, sex, birth weight, type of delivery, breastfeeding and blood type and rhesus. Literature Review is carried out using database searches such as Google Scholar and PubMed. In the search using keywords according to research. With the criteria of Indonesian or English language journals, based on 2015 - 2020 with full text journals. There were several risk factors for significant hyperbilirubinemia such as gestational age, birth weight, and breastfeeding. At gestational age is the highest risk factor or risk factor that mostly influences the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia, birth weight can affect the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia because babies born with less gestational age are more at risk of developing hyperbilirubinemia compared to term infants due to immature body function, and administration Breast milk can also affect the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia in neonates due to poor liver function in infants and some journals also say breastfeeding can affect the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia. As for the results that have a chance of hyperbilirubinemia which is quite risky such as gender, type of delivery, and blood type. Research conducted on risk factors for hyperbilirubinemia in neonates provides an analysis that risk factors such as gestational age, sex, birth weight, type of delivery, breastfeeding and blood type have a relationship or can cause hyperbilirubinemia in newborns. | ||
