| 520 | |a Contact dermatitis is one example of occupational skin disorders occupational disease known as occupational contact dermatitis. PPSU officers are workers who are given the responsibility to improve the public infrastructure and facilities in DKI Jakarta, especially in Gunung Subdistrict, South Jakarta. Based on the preliminary study, it was found that seven PPSU officers experienced contact dermatitis in the area of the hand, fingers, feet and toes. The study used cross sectional design conducted in April - June 2020 in Gunung Subdistrict. The sample size of this study was 85 respondents which were selected by using a purposive sampling technique. Variables observed in this study were personal hygiene, work period, and individual characteristics. Data were collected by questionnaire filling via Google form. A chi- square test was used to analyse all data (α = 0.05). The results show as much as 28 (32.9%) PPSU officers in Kelurahan Gunung had contact dermatitis complaints. There was a significant relationship between contact dermatitis complaints with skin disease history (P = 0.000) and personal hygiene (P = 0.016). Suggestions that can be undertaken are to implement medical check-up routine and periodically to know about health problems early on. | ||
