| Summary: | Vaginal birth after Caesarean (VBAC) is a solution to lower the rate of cesarean section births. The practice of VBAC has not been done much because of the greater risk compared to re-cesarean section. So, it is necessary to know the characteristics of mothers with successful VBAC so that more pregnant women with history of cesarean section could do VBAC. This study aims to identify the characteristics and distribution of mothers with successful VBAC at Fatmawati Hospital in 2018-2019. As a descriptive retrospective study, this study describes the criteria of mothers with successful VBAC at Fatmawati Hospital in 2018-2019. The subjects were pregnant women who performed TOLAC (Trial of Labor After Caesarean) with the total of 76 people, the data was processed using a frequency distribution table and cross tabulation. There are 33 out of 76 patients with successful VBAC with various characteristics, there are 16 people with other indication of cesarean section, 30 people with history of 1 cesarean section, 31 people with pregnancy interval of ≥24 months, 23 people without a history of vaginal delivery, 20 people with birth weight of 2500-4000 grams, 33 people with head presentation, 20 people with a maternal age range of 20-35 years, and 14 people with stage I active phase birth. |
