In addition, the generation process must also develop in a better direction, one of which is to increase the efficiency of the plant. The pattern of operation in the operation of steam turbines at PLTGU was created as a way to increase the power generated, so that the generating system could work more efficiently by adding the use of HRSG. This study uses 3 types of operating patterns, namely 1- 1-1 (1 gas turbine, 1 HRSG and 1 steam turbine), 2-2-1 operating pattern (2 gas turbine, 2 HRSG and 1 steam turbine) and 3-3-1 operating pattern (3 gas turbines, 3 HRSG and 1 steam turbine). The method used to retrieve data is using digital data at Central Control Room that the similarity has been verified with analog data used by field operator. Data used for this research is is the operation of PLTGU in January 2019-June 2019 with a load capacity of 85 MW, 100 MW and 120 MW. The calculation process is carried out by utilizing the thermodynamic formula and software cycle tempo. This research found that there that every change in operating patterns there is an increase in efficiency with a load of 85 MW from 20.34% to 21.93%, with a load of 100 MW from 20.56% to 22.39% and with a load of 120 MW from 20.63 % to 21.43%.
