520 |a PT. XYZ is a steel industry, there are many machines used in this industry, one of which is CTCM. The CTCM machine is the machine with the highest downtime during 2019. If the value of downtime is high and this problem continues it does not rule out the possibility of a lot of late production, of course, this will greatly affect production schedules and impact losses for the company, therefore a maintenance schedule is needed an optimal engine. To implement an optimal maintenance schedule, a study was carried out by designing the maintenance of CTCM engine components by simulating damage that would occur using the Monte Carlo simulation and redesigning the preventive maintenance schedule in order to reduce the value of downtime. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of reliability of the component parts CTCM machines, Predict TTF based on the results of Monte Carlo simulations on each component of the CTCM engine as a basis for determining optimal maintenance schedules. For the proposed scheduling of the CTCM Machine on the KP-130 maintenance is done every 45 days, KP-145 every 16 days, KP-190 every 32 days, KP-305 every 34 days, KP-310 every 4 days, KP-340 every 5 days, KP-360 every 42 days, KP-420 every 56, KP-490 every 34 days, KP-500 every 4 days. With the proposed maintenance period on each component of the CTCM machine, the reliability is 85%.
