Method: a case study of Mr. A's family care, especially Mrs. S, with gout arthritis in RT 05 RW 01, Grogol, Limo sub-district, Depok city. Results: The interventions provided were teaching how to do warm ginger compost to reduce the pain felt due to symptoms caused by gouty arthritis, and to teach a gout diet to regulate protein intake into the body so that uric acid levels return to normal. Evaluation of the results shown in the form of a decrease in the level of pain in mothers S to a scale of 5, and a decrease in uric acid levels to 6.5 ml / dl, did not complain of pain when going to sleep. Discussion: Symptoms caused by gouty arthritis are pain, so patients who have gouty arthritis will experience very disturbing pain in addition to burning pain around the joints also felt by the patient. Ginger warm compresses are used to reduce pain in gout arthritis patients. Conclusion: Ginger warm compresses help reduce the scale of pain felt by patients, relaxing joints that feel hot and hot with a gout diet can deplete protein intake which keeps the body's uric acid from returning to normal. | ||
