Summary:The tourism sector in the past twenty years has become one of the fastest growing industrial sectors and has a significant impact or contribution to improving a country's economy. Indonesia has a very potential area in the field of tourism but has not experienced much development in the international market namely Lombok, NTB. These obstacles make the formation of cooperation in the field of sustainable tourism development between Indonesia and Germany in the field of sustainable tourism development through the SREGIP framework in Lombok, NTB in 2015-2017. Of course, in developing the concept of sustainable tourism in the Lombok region, many processes must be passed. This study discusses the process of achieving the development of the concept of sustainable tourism within the framework of SREGIP in Lombok, NTB. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach supported by International Cooperation theory, Foreign Aid theory, and the concept of Sustainable Tourism. The final results of this research will inform and show a variety of efforts and activities carried out during the collaboration process with the implementation of the SREGIP project until the final achievements achieved by establishing bilateral cooperation involving Indonesia and Germany in the field of sustainable tourism development in Lombok in their efforts to make this region as one of the pilot areas for the application of the concept of sustainable tourism.
