| Summary: | Andreas Lukita is one of the famous male beauty influencers on Instagram. Every content or post that he shares through his personal Instagram account, visualizes and explains the style of androgynous identity. Andreas Lukita's personal Instagram is one of the media that is able to represent his style to the public. Androgyny is the development of gender roles where the masculine and feminine self are present simultaneously so that individual androgyny can bring together masculine and feminine characters simultaneously. Through the signs of androgyny which he displays through his personal Instagram account, become the focus of this research. So, this research focuses on the representation of androgyny identity by Andreas Lukita on his Instagram account which was analyzed through Roland Barthes's semiotic analysis. This research discusses how the representation of androgyny identity displayed by Andreas Lukita through several photographs in his personal Instagram account based on the meaning of denotation, connotation and myths that exist. This research is a qualitative research using Roland Barthes's semiotic analysis. The results of this study indicate that Andreas Lukita has an androgyny identity that is visually visible. This can be seen from the style of his makeup and what he wears such as the use of foundation, eye shadow, lipstick, blush and others that are generally used by women. The clothes used in every photo that has been shared on his Instagram account have symbols that show that Andreas has a very good sense of fashion by mixing unisex clothing such as pants and some supporting accessories such as earrings and high heels.
