| 520 | |a In Indonesia, the growth of the elderly population is increasing every year. With increasing age, many of them experience diseases that decrease their quality of life. Not many studies have discussed the quality of life of geriatric patients. This study aims to determine whether there is an impact of home care nursing on the quality of life of patients. This research is a quantitative research with analytic observational research type through cross sectional approach. The population of this study were geriatric patients who received home care health care by St. Hospital. Carolus Jakarta. The sample in this study were geriatric patients who received home care who had a history of cerebrovascular disease. Forty respondents as a sample were obtained through total sampling method. Primary data were collected by filling out a questionnaire. The results of this study obtained a p value of 0.019. As many as 22 patients (55%) had a poor quality of life, while 18 patients (45%) had a good quality of life, so it can be concluded that home care services for geriatrics are carried out by St. Hospital. Carolus affects the quality of life of patients with a history of cerebrovascular disease. | ||
