Pseudmonas aeruginosa is a gram-negative with a thin wall structure. P. aeruginosa can cause infections in the community usually in hospitals. This research aimed to determine the metabolite filtrate substance of Actinomycetes from Bogor Botanical Garden's soil as an antibacterial against P. aeruginosa in vitro. The identification of Actinomycetes isolate used macroscopic and microscopic test. This study used an experimental design with an isolate sample of Actinomycetes derived from the soil of Bogor Botanical Garden using the method of disc diffusion in the Muller Hinton Agar (MHA) media by looking at the clear zone of bacterial growth around the disc paper. From three concentration groups; 50%, 60%, and 70% were acquired mean inhibition zones of 2.22 mm, 2.68 mm, 3.0 mm. The results of Kruskal- Wallis test with P value = 0.01 showed there were influences and filtrate differences of Actinomycetes metabolite substance to the growth of P. aeruginosa bacteria. The content derived from Actinomycetes can be potential as antibacterial with one of its mechanisms, which inhibits the synthesis of cell wall and synthesis protein bacteria.
