Peacekeeping operations are very concentrated on masculine values because military forces are expected to be able to survive and carry out their work in the midst of unstable situations and many unexpected threats. This condition bring out assumptions about peacekeeping operations are dominated by men as masculine who are identical with strength and courage. However, Security Council Resolution 1325 resolves the assumptions about gender in peacekeeping operations because this resolution raises the issue of gender mainstreaming where women can also be involved in peacekeeping operations. The implementation of Security Council Resolution 1325 was proven by the participation of a Garuda Women Contingent in the United Nations peacekeeping operation in Lebanon called the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). Therefore, this research was made to analyze the role of Garuda Women Contingents in UNIFIL to support peacekeeping in Lebanon by using a framework such as conflict resolution to see the focus of conflict resolution that carried out by garuda women contingents in UNIFIL, military intervention in responsible to protect and gender in peacekeeping operations to see how the role of women as peacekeeping forces. This research will focus on the role of Garuda Women Contingents in the CIMIC field of Indobatt task force. Furthermore, this study uses a qualitative approach through the process of collecting primary and secondary data to analyze the topic of this research. The results found were the CIMIC Indobatt Garuda Women Contingent playing an active role in UNIFIL to support peacekeeping in Lebanon in the 2014 - 2017 period through humanitarian activities. In addition, this study also showed an argument about the ability of women forces towards their role in armed conflict handling activities.
