This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and non-participant observation to key informants. Key informants were selected by researchers as many as 6 people, consisting of 3 men and 3 women. Key informants have the characteristics and background for using different Tinder applications. The majority of key informants have a background in using the Tinder application to find new friends or acquaintances and the rest have backgrounds to find a partner. The duration of application of the Tinder application for each key informant also varies, such as 6 months, 8 months and others. From the results of the study, researchers found that male key informants were easier to open about themselves than female key informants to their match partners, but were still open about the outer portion of themselves. To open an interesting topic of discussion, key informants avoid discussion about SARA and personal matters. In addition, when discussing interesting topics, the informants slipped jokes or funny things to make the match pair comfortable. If everything is done it can lead to a deeper intimacy than before.
