| Summary: | Nomophobia is a anxious feeling caused by losing a smartphone's signal, losing smartphone's battery, and losing ability to answer a call, reply messages or email in a current time. Nomophobia could be defined as anxiety disorder caused by losing a smatrphone. This research was held to determine the relation between nomophobia and sleep quality among 7th semester medical students Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta, 2020. This research was an analytic observational research using a cross sectional design. The participants were 50 of 7th semester medical students Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta aged 18 - 24 years old. Sampling technique was consecutive sampling to determine number of samples inquired. Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q) was used to analyse nomophobia and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) used to analyse the sleep quality. Bivariate analysis using cross sectional test was conducted in this research. The result is showed signification value and it was obtained 0,286 (p> 0.05). It was concluded that there is no relation between nomophobia and sleep quality among 7th semester medical students Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta, 2020. |
