Summary

Archives are written, oral, and pictorial documents from the past that are usually issued by official agencies and then stored in written and electronic media. Archive management carried out at PT Jala Fabrikasi Kencana (PT JFK) is still done manually. This management results in less efficiency and effectiveness for employees and can lead to confusion because it is known that many documents are managed. For this reason, an archive management information system is needed that can make it easier for employees to manage records and does not take a lot of time. The document archiving information system at PT Jala Fabrikasi Kencana will be designed using an object-oriented MySQL database and using the Database Life Cycle (DBLC) method. The results of this study are in the form of a database design and a user interface for the archiving information system created.
