Summary

At this time, mobile device technology has become a major human need. Mobile devices make it easy for humans to do all work in any field with mobile applications, including in the field of transportation and information, especially in the car rental business. CV GAP Transport is a company that runs a car rental business, but in carrying out the process it still uses the manual method by coming directly to the office to rent a car and in terms of recording it still uses books. This is very ineffective and very unfavorable during the current pandemic conditions, therefore the aim of this study is to create an Android-based car rental application so that customers can see all car information in the application without having to come to the office and managers will find it easier to do data collection such as car data, driver data, customer data and car rental data. The application will be created using Android studio software and using a MySQL database with a prototype development method, besides that the application will run an online system process.
