The Whatsapp group, which has many members, is also used as a media for discussion by groups, one of which is the group that is part of the WAG "KRS Hiks". The purpose of this research is to find out the reasons why the WAG "KRS Hiks" can be used as a media for friendship group discussions and to know the role of the WAG "KRS Hiks" in facilitating friendship group discussions. This study uses the concept of group communication, group discussion, and interaction analysis theory with descriptive qualitative methods and a case study approach. Using data collection techniques in the form of interviews and observations, this study found that the reason for using the WAG "KRS Hiks" as a discussion medium was due to the closeness between members and the similarity in lecture concentration which facilitated the discussion process carried out. WAG "KRS Hiks" acts as a medium in discussion and decision making related to lectures. | ||
