Description
Summary:We report a case of extremity edema induced by adalimumab in a psoriatic patient. A 60-year-old man presented with erythema and scaling on the whole body for more than 10 years and edema on the extremities for over 2 weeks. The patient had been diagnosed with psoriasis and treated with adalimumab regularly. After the third injection of adalimumab, the skin lesions were improved, but the pitting edema was gradually developed on the extremities. After one week of diuretic treatment, the edema did not completely subside, but became worse after the fourth injection. Three weeks after discontinuation of adalimumab, edema subsided. No recurrence was observed during three-month follow-up.
